Delaware Valley alt-rockers  Hot4Robot have released the first video from their recently dropped self-titled debut album. The trippy clip for the LP’s second single, “Binary World,” makes its media debut here in Makin Waves at New Jersey Stage.

A multi-layered soundscape with thought-provoking commentary like much of the LP, “Binary World” features a danceable indie-pop take on the new wave of the early ‘80s ala Psychedelic Furs and Thompson Twins. The video features quasi-cyborg versions of Alex and co-founding multi-instrumentalist Dave Cahill performing in a computer-generated, effect-saturated landscape.

“In an increasingly polarized, black and white world, inhabiting the gray area becomes an act of rebellion,” said Hot4Robot co-founding vocalist Alex Radus, an acclaimed solo artist and former member of the duo duende.

Featured on numerous radio programs and 34 Spotify playlists, Hot4Robot soon will announce a variety of online and live appearances. Find out more at hot4robot.com

“Us vs. Them” by Cahill vs. Kalma

Video by Dylan Avery

British Petroleum…planned out the explosion…
They disabled the alarms…after they dumped their investments.
Never let a crisis go to waste…take advantage of the opportunity today.
Convince the population to obey…as the culprits pose as the saviors…
As they’ll save…

Us…Us…vs…Them…Them…as we, all join together.
And I…I…am losing my mind…‘cause we’ve all got to be there…
For each other sometimes…

Black water up to your neck…hold you down ‘til you take your last breath.
No rules, no consequence…just more and more no bid contracts.
They want to ethnically cleanse this whole place…their master plan to have a subservient race.
Trans-human foot soldiers…a legion of mindless warriors…
To battle…

Us…Us…vs…Them…Them…as we, all join together.
And I…I…am losing my mind…‘cause we’ve all got to be there…
For each other sometimes…

This means war, the jig is up…my friends and I will fuck you up…
If you come anywhere near us…if you come anywhere near us.
We outnumber you, ten to one…so lock and load, you better fucking run…
If you come anywhere near us…if you come anywhere near us.
If you come anywhere near us…if you come anywhere near us.

It was a Tuesday in September…our air defenses were dismembered.
Steel buildings, blown out from the center…but most people, can’t even remember.
Building Seven collapsed into its own footprint…how did that happen when it wasn’t even hit?
Was it really done by the terrorists?
Just ask yourself, “Who stood to benefit?”

Us…Us…or…Them…Them…as we, all join together.
